I have recently collaborated with a small Board Shop called DenAli Boardshop up here in the little town of Mukilteo, WA and I am now their official custom artist! I first would like to say thank you to all the people that support me and my artwork. I would not be where I am today without you. (Also, don’t worry – you’ve reached the right site!). When I first started putting myself out there as an artist, I was mainly doing one kind of art: painting to music (live or otherwise) so the name “notes2strokes” was born. Thankfully, my business has grown much bigger than that so I have made the decision to adopt a new name: “Gearheart” and this site is my lair: the “Gearheart Factory”. This was a very hard decision for me which took a lot of time and effort but going forward I hope to brand myself as more than just one kind of artist. I want to provide you with the art that YOU want to see. I still plan on continuing to do live art shows with bands, making new art and creating awesome custom designs – just as a new me! I am extremely excited for the future of Gearheart and I can tell you that there will be a TON of new things in the works – so check back often! Also, you can follow me on Twitter: @GHFactory

I had an overwhelmingly amazing response to my custom artwork at the most recent RAW artists show in Seattle, WA last night and I just wanted to thank everyone who came up and talked to me, and appreciated the hard work I put into my art. I also want to note that if you’re interested in a custom painted tie (they were quite popular and I’m sorry I had none on hand to sell you) but if you want one, they’re only $50 each for a limited time only!!! I will be debuting my custom shoes in the great city of Seattle, WA for the first time as a RAW Featured Artist!! My shoes will be showcased by models in the fashion show and I will also have an artist booth set up in the art area. Oh and BONUS – attendees of this event will also get to be the first to see my brand new Custom Painted Hats and men’s Fashion Ties — you don’t wanna miss this!! Anyone who places an order with me at the show will receive a free custom painted had (to order – a design of their choosing) OR 20% their order. I was recently hired on to the TOMS shoes team as a group artist! What does that mean? Well, they have hand selected artists from around the world to participate in their very own Style Your Sole events (in select locations!) So watch out for event updates as I am very excited to do my first event with TOMS – live custom painting shoe orders!!
